What It takes to be Successful? Do You Have What it Takes?

So many of us look at successful people and become haters. I cannot lie I've done it myself. I will use myself for example. When Lil Wayne became popular I asked myself, how can a dude that looks like The Predator be so freaking popular. I can rap better than him. Shoot, I probably can do a lot of things better than he can. Why is he more successful? Well, I cannot lie the dude does work hard. He does have a heck of a work ethic. What are some of the other things that would have made his outcome differnt than my outcome. I sat down to do some studying and here's what I have come up with. How you think, or better yet your attitude is very important. We all are taught to go to school, get a good job, and everything will be ok. In todays economy this idea doesn't always work. As a child, I grew up with that mindset. I was always taught to go to school and to get good grades. I was always taught that once I graduate school to find a good job and to work hard at whatever job that I had. The only bad thing about that is that I always thought that I was not getting paid what I was actually worth. I know it may not make since to you now, but we all have to understand one thing. These big businesses that we find ourselves working for, are only in business for one reason. They are are in business to make money. Thus, they are only going to pay people like us mere pennies on every dollar made. I would call some names here and point out several big names that do this to their employees, but the point of this post is not to be contreversial at all. To put it shortly, Prices are going up, but our wages are staying the same. To make it in todays world you will have to change from the mindset that we were all taught as kids, or else you will be sitting on the sideline for a lifetime. So how do you start changing? The first thing you have to do is set a goal. You must set a goal, even if that goal seems impossible. Set your goal, and then take action. Once you have decided on your goal, you have to learn not to take "no" for an answer. For example, I am not gonna let anyone tell me I cannot make money online. I am just gonna keep working at it, until I get it right. All my readers will get to witness how I did it. You get to learn what I am doing every step of the way. This means that even if I fail, I still succeed. Why? I learn from my failures,and then get back up and try it again. Like I said, even if I fail, I still succeed. I am not afraid to innovate. I am not scared of asking people to partner with me. I am not so timid that I cannot communicate effectively. I am not scared to mess up, because I know that no matter what I will not give up. That is what divides the boys from the men. That is what divides the girls from the women. What I mean by that is boys and girls may fail at something, then they just get mad and quit. Men and women, they fail, learn where they made the mistake, and adapt, and then try again. To simply put it, they consider their failure as a learning experience, and they do not accept the word "no" as an answer. They do not blame others for their mistakes. They do not sit on the sideline. They grab the ball, and they play the game. They work harder than everybody else. If they want something the bad enough, then they do not stop until they get it. This means they always think positive no matter the outcome. I could give you alot of words and ideas on what I think defines the secret to success. I could do that. I could go on and on, about marketing, positioning your product, branding, passion, hard work, and a lot of other things. The bottom line is that no matter the adjective or the topic there is only one bottom line. It all boils down to how bad you want it. Do you want it bad enough that you you will take an ass whoopin' for it, and then get back up and go after it? Do you want it as bad as the air you breathe? If the answer is yes, then you have now found the secret to success. You have now taken the first step of your journey. Now go out there, and get what is yours.
